BOW Lamp was submitted for the Becker Contest 2011. The name represents the resemblance in form to the structure of a ribbon being tied into a bow. Its curved form also resembles the bending action of the upper body.Bow lamp is made out of moulded plywood with high power LEDs situated all around the shade's inner surface, enhancing its flowing form. A 3mm plexiglass layer covers the light sources to create an evenly illuminated surface.
