STOW
STOW is a multifunctional piece of furniture which apart from serving as storage, it also serves as a light source and an extra surface. Stow makes use of vertical unused spaces to avoid the use of already occupied floor space, while making the storage easily accessible for daily use. It is intended as a solution for small-scale living, yet it is ideal to hide away untidy clutter in any living space. The storage space is covered with a bellow-like surface, made out of fabric and a stainless steel frame. This allows the cover to compress neatly when it is pulled upwards or downwards to access the storage. Apart from serving as storage space, STOW is also a lighting fixture. The top surface can also be utilised as a suspended table, while offering the possibility to move it out of the way with a single gesture.
